At the age of 83, Joyce Cameron passed away Friday, April 19 at her residence, The Evergreens, in Moorestown after a 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Joyce was born in Riverside on December 28,1935 to Frank Casciella Sr. and Ella (Keebler). She is pre-deceased by her loving husband Donald and her siblings Frank Jr, Pearl Brogan and Patricia Troiano.
Joyce was a graduate of Burlington City High School. She retired after working 44 years as the deli manager of Super Fresh supermarkets. She was a devoted member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Beverly. Joyce loved spending time at her camper down the shore, traveling or just dancing the night away at a family party.
Joyce was the beloved mother to her six children:Robyn(David) Harker, David(Angie) Jennings, Lynn Deacon, Sandra (Tim) Jankowski, Stacie (Kevin) Gravinese and Cathy(Michael) Clair as well as her grandchildren: Jaime(John) Lee, Jodi(Devin) Frederick, Nicole(Peter) Davidson, Patrick Jankowski, Dana(Jason) Baldarossi, Vickie Aherns, Robert(Stephanie) Jennings, Marc Aherns, Ashlea(Anthony) McDaniel, Jeremy Jankowski, Briana Gravenese, Shawn and Trevor Clair and her 10 great-grandchildren.
Joyce has chosen to support Alzheimer’s research at the University of Pennsylvania so there will be no service at this time.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests donations be made in Joyce’s name to the University of Pennsylvania Alzheimer’s Disease Core Center to aid in the research of preventing this terrible disease.
