Officials say “New Jersey American Water is committed to providing high quality and reliable water service to our customers. This requires continually investing in making improvements to our distribution system. Crews will be replacing a fire hydrant along Manor Road in Cinnaminson. To do this, we will need to temporarily shut off the water in your neighborhood on the above date at approximately 1 p.m. for approximately four to six hours.”
This time is an estimate that is subject to change. In the event of inclement weather or other project disruption, the water interruption will be rescheduled to the next business day unless you receive other notification.
Officials say “we will work quickly and efficiently to restore your service as soon as possible. We suggest that you store a few gallons of water for drinking, cooking and other household uses during this time. After service restored, you may experience discolored water for a short period of time. The sediment that could cause discoloration is not harmful and the water should clear up if you run your cold tap water for a few minutes.”
