The following is a release sent from the Cherry Hill Police Department on April 22:
Cherry Hill Police are looking for anyone with information or any witness accounts of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Route 70 near Greentree Road. The crash occurred at approximately 9:08 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 in the area of the PJ Whelihan’s Restaurant.
The victim, identified as Guillermo Tolentino of Runnemede, ran across Route 70 and was struck by a westbound car, resulting in fatal injuries. The vehicle involved did stop and remain on location, and the driver has been cooperating with the police investigation.
However, there were also numerous other vehicles traveling through the area when this crash occurred, so police are asking that anyone who has information about the incident to please contact them by calling Officer James Weist at (856) 432-8859, or tips can also be received anonymously by emailing [email protected] or by clicking on the following link- Submit an anonymous web tip.
