Cherry Hill Township is encouraging residents to save the date for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27 at Town Hall. The event will serve as a solemn remembrance to honor all those who have given their lives in service to the United States, according to the township’s announcement.
The ceremony will start at 10:45 a.m. at the War Memorial outside of the Municipal Complex. The event will pay tribute to Cherry Hill residents killed in action since World War II and recognize veterans who have passed away in the last year.
Residents can bring their families for this free, all-weather ceremony, which will be followed by a free lunch.
