Cherokee High School student to represent state at national Future Business Leaders of America National conference

Cherokee junior Jenna Dever recently placed first in the Future Business Leaders of America Healthcare Administration Test for New Jersey’s competition.

Officials with Cherokee High School are offering congratulations to Cherokee junior Jenna Dever, who recently placed first in the Future Business Leaders of America Healthcare Administration Test for New Jersey’s competition.

According to officials, health-care administrators manage the business side of health services and ensure effective use of resources to guarantee the best medical care to the community.

Officials say the skills needed for this test include managing office activities, enhancing communication skills, identifying legal and ethical issues in health-care practices, managing financial functions and enhancing employability skills.

Dever will now represent Cherokee High School and New Jersey at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June.
