Temple Beth Sholom Hazak planning trip to adult mini camp
Hazak will be traveling to Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa in June.
Temple Beth Sholom Hazak is traveling to an adult mini camp this June and the community is invited to attend.
Come with your Havurah, bridge partner, polka game or Mah Jongg group and Hazak to an extended Shabbaton of Jewish learning at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville, N.Y. on Thursday, June 27 through Monday, July 1. An array of scholars, educators and entertainers will present a wonderful opportunity of learning,
There will be world class speakers such as Gloria Goldreich, author of Leah’s Journey, The Bridal Chair and many other titles; Chaim Lauer, educator of Jewish Studies; and Laura Wexler, ASCAP award-winning singer and songwriter. Rabbi Moshe Edelman is the Rabbi in residence and coordinator of the event. This program is open to people from across the country drawing mainly from New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mini camp prices are $940 per person for a double occupancy and $1,290 per person for a single occupancy. The price includes hotel, all meals (kosher), evening entertainment, exercise classes, spa, lectures and daily and Shabbat services.
Round trip transportation to the camp is included for Hazak members through a grant from the Bob and Estelle Richter Hazak fund. For Non-Hazak members the transportation cost is $50 per person.
