Piccola praises Congressman Andy Kim’s recent work.
Congressman Andy Kim has hit the ground running in Washington, D.C. with the Save Act. Since early 2017, the Affordable Care Act Federal Exchange has been dismantled, piece by piece, by the GOP. Their biggest weapon? They cut funding to critical ACA related advertising and services, reducing enrollment and raising prices.
Like many states, New Jersey currently utilizes the ACA Federal Exchange. As an alternative to the Federal Exchange, states are able to set up their own state exchange. The Save Act will authorize $200 million in federal aid to states who set up their own exchange. With a state exchange, New Jersey residents will have better access to the ACA, enrollment will increase and prices will go down.
I’m proud to have supported and campaigned for Congressman Kim. With the Save Act, Congressman Kim is proving he supports the residents of Burlington County, New Jersey and the rest of the country. People over Politics. Keep up the great work, Andy!
