Coffee House to benefit PRISM of South Jersey

Donations for the March 22 event will go toward creating a safe/brave space for LGBTQ+ youth.

A Coffee House/Open Mic Night, benefitting PRISM of South Jersey, will be held Friday, March 22 from 7 to 11 p.m. The Coffee House will be located at First Baptist Church of Moorestown. PRISM is a safe/brave space for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13 to 18 and is set to open May 2019.

The evening will feature musicians, singers, poets and a silent auction. The evening’s featured artist is Bryan DeSilva, a Burlington County native. DeSilva is a singer/songwriter and teacher who currently teaches at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. DeSilva is passionate about the real human stories found in diverse genre — opera, musical theatre, rock and roll, cabaret and Baroque concert repertoire.

Donations of $20 will be taken at the door.
