Kids in grades one to five can get started in yoga with a special class at Cherry Hill Public Library on Wednesday.
The library is hosting Youth Yoga on Wednesday, March 13 beginning at 7 p.m. The event will take place in the children’s story and craft room on the library’s upper level.
Participants can improve strength, flexibility and coordination at this 45-minute class. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, breathing and basic anatomy.
