Feb. 28
- Officers notified a resident that their license plate was located in Washington Township.
- Officers responded to a family dispute between a husband and wife.
- Units responded to a resident who came home from work and found front door open and lights on in the house. Investigation found that a repairman, who was scheduled to come that day, did not lock up the house when he was done.
- Officers responded to a deer that was struck on Main Street in the area of Chestnut Branch Park.
- Ptl. Sheilds conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the driver for active warrants.
- Ptl. Bail conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for providing a false name to him and found to be a wanted person.
March 1
- Ptl. Hauss conducted a motor vehicle stop in Wenonah and arrested an occupant for possession of drugs.
- Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cohawkin Road where a vehicle slid into a pole.
- Officers responded to the Wawa store on Route 45 for a subject who went into cardiac arrest.
- Patrols responded to a minor crash in the area of the Chick-Fil-A.
- Officers responded to a minor crash in the area of the Rite-Aid store on Route 45.
March 2
- Units responded to a crash at the intersection of Breakneck Road and Jackson Road.
- Officers responded to a verbal argument between an adult male and his girlfriend.
- Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up trash on Mantua Boulevard in the area of Center Street.
- Ptl. Hauss conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants.
- Officers responded to the Faith Alliance Church where a vehicle had struck the building overnight and left without making a report.
- Patrols responded to a two-vehicle crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Mantua Boulevard.
- Officers assisted West Deptford Police with a call at their Staples for a female who refused to leave the bathroom.
- Officers assisted Monroe Police with a barricaded subject.
- Officers responded to the Mantua Fire Museum for a rental that was being too loud.
- Ptl. Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested two occupants for outstanding warrants.
March 3
- Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up litter on Heritage Road in the area of Main Street.
- Units responded to a two-vehicle crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Lambs Road in which one vehicle had to be towed.
- Officers responded to a crash on Cohawkin Road.
March 4
- Officers were in the Timbercrest Development for parking enforcement.
- Units responded to a neighbor dispute over banging on walls.
- Patrols responded to a 39-year-old male who had overdosed in the back of an Uber car. Narcan was used and the subject was transported to the hospital.
- Ptl. Schnarr conduced a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants.
- Three new special officers were sworn in at the committee meeting.
March 5
- Units responded to Route 55 for a vehicle fire at 4 a.m.
- Officers investigated a complaint of a dog that was left outside in the cold.
- Officer located a work zone violation and shut down the work until they were in compliance.
- Patrols enforced parking laws in both the Tollhouse and Timberline shopping centers.
- Units responded to a deer that was struck by a vehicle in the area of Delaware Valley Florist on Mantua Boulevard.
- Units assisted a disabled motorist in the roadway and requested a tow truck for them.
March 6
- Officers took a report for a stolen motor vehicle that had been parked on the victim’s property because it was disabled and unable to be driven.
- Ptl. Donovan and his K-9 partner, Boomer, were requested at Pitman High School for a threat that they had received.
- Ptl. Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants.
- Officers responded to a crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Lambs Road.
- Officers assisted the Mantua Fire Department for a report of a building fire on Glassboro Road. It was reported to be a burning smell coming from the heater.
- Units responded to Mantua Boulevard and Center Street for a two-vehicle crash where both vehicles needed to be towed.
- Officers responded to a solicitation complaint in the Timbercrest Development.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Lambs Road.
- Units also responded to a crash on Mantua Boulevard at Turner Street where one vehicle needed to be towed.
- Patrols responded to a hit-and-run crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Route 55 in which a vehicle fled towards Pitman. A license plate was observed and officers are following up with the crash investigation.
- Units responded to a vehicle that had struck a deer on Golf Club Road.
- Sgt. Herner conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested two occupants for hindering their apprehension by providing false names to him. Their true identities were discovered and they were found to have active warrants for their arrests.
