The school district will open two hours late with snow falling in the township.
With snow falling across much of the area Friday morning, Cherry Hill Public Schools will be opening late on March 1. The district announced the delay on its website and social media pages early Friday morning.
Buses will pick up students two hours later than normally scheduled. The high schools will open at 9:30 a.m., middle schools at 10 a.m. and elementary schools at 11 a.m. Morning kindergarten will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and afternoon kindergarten from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
At Barclay, morning half-day preschool is canceled. Half-day PM preschool will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Full-day preschool will run 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and morning social skills kindergarten will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SACC and EDCC programs will open late at 9 a.m. today. Lunch will be served at all schools.
Due to the delayed opening, the school district has also postponed kindergarten registration for Thomas Paine Elementary School today. Th new date for registration is Tuesday, March 19.
