Rowan College at Burlington County to sign off Black History Month with ‘choir sing-off’

On Feb. 28 at 7 p.m., the college will host a Community Choir Sign-Off at the RCBC Mt. Laurel Campus.

Rowan College at Burlington County has been celebrating Black History Month with music, food, fashion, movies and speakers in February.

The college’s African American Cultural Committee organized a month-long series of events to engage the community in a celebration of culture and diversity and to honor the contributions of African Americans.

Now, finally, on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m., the college will host a Community Choir Sign-Off in the Votta Hall Auditorium at the RCBC Mt. Laurel Campus.

Attendees can celebrate unity and African-American culture through song.

This event will feature choirs from throughout Burlington County, and this event is free and open to the public.
