The group is hosting a town-wide pot-luck meal that enables people to gather for a meal with people they already know or friends they haven’t yet met.
The following is a message from MooreUnity:
Many of us were greatly dismayed to that KKK fliers were found in driveways in Moorestown about two weeks ago on International Holocaust Remembrance day and on the eve of Black History Month. MooreUnity is a civic group in town that would like to counter the hatred of those messages and demonstrate that our town is a warm and welcoming community by offering MooreGreet&Eat.
MooreGreet&Eat is something of a town-wide pot-luck meal that enables people to gather for a meal with people they already know or friends they haven’t yet met. There are about 10 hosts who have agreed to open their homes over the course of the next few weeks. Hosts provide a main course, and guests sign up to bring a side dish, beverage, appetizer or dessert.
