Recycling bins are open to the public and can be found at public works
The Borough recently adopted a Municipal Clothing Recycling Program after signing an agreement with American Recycling Resources, an Ocean, NJ company, which offers residents the opportunity to recycle potential waste and turn it into renewable textile products while providing a source of revenue for the Borough!
The bin is located in the Public Works Yard near the regular single-stream paper, glass and can recycling dumpsters.
Residents can recycle shoes and boots, clothing items, gloves and hats, linens, blankets and towels.
The Borough wants your help reducing the amount of waste being sent to the landfill. This can save tax dollars and provide your town with a revenue stream. ARR pays the borough $90 per month for the right to locate a bin at public works.
All recycling bins are open to the public and can be found at Public Works, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
