The performance will take place on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Moorestown.
Join the West Jersey Chamber Music Society for an evening of uplifting music with “Music Transcends: With the Arcadian Trio.” The world-class Arcadian Trio will perform the music of courageous composers who overcame extraordinary challenges to bring their music into being.
The evening will include African American spirituals, Jewish Klezmer type folk themes, jazz, traditional and modern classical music.
There will also be a premiere piece by internationally acclaimed composer Kile Smith as well as a multimedia presentation to enrich the audience experience. A meet the musician and composer reception with foods from many cultures will follow.
