A charity auction raised $1,600.
Robert Michaud, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Medford office, is pleased to announce that his office held a charity auction during its holiday party and raised $1,600 to benefit several worthy causes. The money was distributed to four local organizations:
· The Burlington County Times/Willingboro Rotary Club “Give A Christmas” campaign for deserving families in the county who have fallen on difficult times.
· The Medford United Methodist Church’s support of local migrant farm workers.
· The VFW Post 7677’s support of the southern New Jersey house that helps displaced veterans returning from service.
· The Unforgotten Haven in Blackwood, a local charity helping families in need.
The Weichert office also collected toys that were donated to The Unforgotten Haven and added to a tractor-trailer filled with other toys and supplies for families in Marianna, Fla., who lost their homes and possessions during Hurricane Michael.
“As part of Weichert’s culture, we strive to give back to the communities in which we live and work,” Michaud said. “We are honored to assist those in need of shelter, food and a helping hand, not just during the holiday season but throughout the year.”
