Evesham Police welcomes new member to department’s K-9 unit

Officer Zachary Goess and his K-9 partner Tango have graduated from the training academy and are currently patrolling the township.

Officials with the Evesham Police Department say the department is proud to announce the newest member of the K-9 Unit – Officer Zachary Goess and his K-9 partner Tango.

On behalf of the men and women of the Evesham Police Department, officials say they are “extremely excited” to welcome Tango to the department’s ranks.

According to police Tango is a 16-month-old German Sheppard. Tango and Goess graduated from a six-month training academy this past Friday and are currently patrolling the township.

The Evesham Police K-9 Foundation donated the $7,000 to ETPD to purchase the dog.

The Evesham Police Foundation is a non-profit organization serving the Evesham Police Department by financially supporting programs and equipment needs not included in the annual budget.
