Wednesday, May 8

Evesham Township Council Meeting: All residents. 7 p.m. at the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The monthly meeting of the Evesham Township Council. No registration is required.

Thursday, May 9

Stay and Play: Ages 5 years and under. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to stop by the “Children’s Area” for a special “Stay & Play” sponsored and run by the senior class at Cherokee High School. This is a drop-in playtime for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. No registration required.

Saturday, May 11

Kids Coding Class: Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology. Participants will be able to make friends while learning how to code and more. No experience required and all supplies will be provided. Parent or guardian of non-readers must stay and assist their child. For additional information, email marltonkidstechclub@gmail.com. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Kids Coding Class Bring Your Own Device: Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Additional spots are available to join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology.  Make friends while learning how to code and more.  No experience required. Participants must bring their own computer or device that can run MIT Scratch. The Burlington County Library System lends Chromebooks and Samsung Galaxy tablets. Both devices work with MIT Scratch. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, May 13

Baby Ballet: Ages 2 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join Miss Sabrina Ballerina for an introductory ballet class. Participants will learn to follow directions, as well as develop hand-eye coordination, and body awareness. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 17 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters, or start a new project from the library’s pattern selection – guests are free to use the library’s yarn stash. Beginners are welcome and can learn from a library staff member. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
