Superintendent Joseph Bollendorf speaks on behalf of the board of education reorganization

A message from Superintendent Bollendorf

Dear Washington Township Residents:

Happy New Year! As we ring in 2019 and look ahead to upcoming months of achievement and activities in our schools, we also welcome a new member to the board of education. Community member Paul Esposito was sworn into this new role, along with incumbents Dr. Karen Garrison and Candice Zachowski on Jan. 2. The board also has realigned under new leadership, with Julie Yankanich assuming the presidency and Ray Dinovi serving as vice president.

Our board’s commitment to the Washington Township schools and community can never be overstated. Their dedicated and tireless volunteerism, and the important oversight roles that they willingly assume, are integral to our growth. We are indebted to our school board members — past and present, individually and collectively — for supporting our efforts and ensuring our success.

Joe Bollendorf, Superintendent of Schools
