Council will hold its reorganization meeting on Jan. 2, while the BOE holds its meeting on Jan. 3.
The annual reorganization meetings for Evesham Township Council and the Evesham Township School District Board of Education are set for next week.
For the 2019 Evesham Township Council Reorganization Meeting, the meeting will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 5 p.m. in the courtroom of the Evesham Township Municipal Complex.
At this meeting, newly elected Democrat Jaclyn Veasy will be sworn in as the township’s mayor, along with newly elected Democrats Heather Cooper and Patricia Hansen sworn in to township council.
Council will also decide on a deputy mayor at the meeting.
For the Evesham Township School District Board of Education Reorganization Meeting, the meeting will take place on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Medland Administration Building, located at 25 South Maple Ave.
At this meeting, reelected board member Joe Fisicaro Jr. will be sworn in for a new term, along with newly elected board members Melissa Flemming and Christopher St. John.
The board will also decide on a board president and board vice president.
