Letters to Santa — Kids for Wish Kids
Shawnee students took part in a wish granting ceremony.
Shawnee High School’s Kids for Wish Kids club invited the student body and staff to write letters to Santa. On Dec. 7, club members delivered the letters to Macy’s in Cherry Hill and Macy’s donated $2.00 for each letter placed in their “Believe” mailbox that day.
Club members also took part in the wish granting ceremony being held at the mall to reveal the wish of a child getting his wish granted. Students held signs and welcomed the child as he learned he’d be going to Australia.
