Police say the arrests came after a citizen tip lead to police launching a proactive surveillance detail.
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Dec. 14, detectives with the Evesham Township Police Department received a tip from a concerned citizen regarding the distribution of heroin in the area of a business located on the 700 block of Route 70.
During the investigation, police say members of the investigative bureau determined that a male from Camden City and another male from Pennsauken were allegedly involved in the distribution of heroin in Marlton.
Police immediately arrested each individual without incident.
During a search of their vehicle, a distribution quantity of heroin was also allegedly located on their person.
Arrested:
A male, age 26, of Pennsauken, was charged with third-degree distribution and possession of heroin. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail.
A male, age 27, of Camden City, was charged with third-degree distribution and possession of heroin. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail.
