The Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group, a boutique real estate brokerage based in South Jersey, donated more than $13,000 to Robins’ Nest, a non-profit organization headquartered in Glassboro that provides life changing services to children, families, veterans and the community at large.
The donation was presented during the real estate agency’s Holiday Reception on Dec. 6 where members of Robins’ Nest were present to receive the check, as well as to promote their Santa’s Workshop Toy Collection initiative. Inspired by the act during the reception, select business partners and clients of the agency have made contributions that have brought the total upwards of $19,000.
Throughout the year, Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group sets aside a percentage of commission from each home purchase and sale to contribute to Robins’ Nest, whose mission is to support and empower the community with more than 80 social service programs to people of all ages throughout southern New Jersey. The donation is an accumulation of 2018’s contributions from the agents and the brokerage.
Nancy Kowalik, owner and broker of the Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group, has supported Robin’s Nest for several years.
“We love this organization and what it does to support our community and the most vulnerable and underrepresented in South Jersey,” she said. “We do all we can to support their important mission.”
Whenever possible she raises awareness amongst colleagues and clients as well.
“The opportunity to give back has really helped us grow together as a team,” she adds.
The Holiday Reception was held at Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group’s office on Main Street in Mullica Hill. The property features a unique, historic barn that was decorated for the event.
