There will be six performances by a 52-member all-ages cast over two weekend.
Moorestown Theater Company will present the musical version of the classic Christmas movie “A Christmas Story, The Musical.” There will be six performances by a 52-member all-ages cast over two weekends from Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at Moorestown High School.
“So many people have a tradition at Christmas every year of watching this movie with ‘Ralphie’ trying to get his air rifle, and his friend ‘Flick’ getting his tongue stuck to a flagpole,” said Mark Morgan, the director of the show and MTC’sProducing Artistic Director. “We have been trying to get the rights to this wonderful new musical for several years, and were finally successful this year. As we rehearse this musical, we know that it was the wait. And there are several other productions in the area this holiday season, but ours is the only one that is cast age and gender appropriately.”
You can purchase tickets ($18 for adults / $13 for seniors & students, plus a $2 per ticket service charge) online at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door beginning one hour before curtain time in the lobby at MHS. Call MTC at (856)778–8357 with any questions.
