Barry the Baron debuts as new costumed mascot for Rowan College at Burlington County
“Who is Barry?”
That question was at the center of an advertising crusade spread throughout Rowan College at Burlington County’s campus in Mt. Laurel and social media channels for the past several weeks.
Barry is none other than “Barry the Baron” — the costumed personification of the school’s longtime mascot of The Baron.
Complete with his own personalized introduction from a town crier, Barry the Baron debuted clad in a full set of shining, silver armor, with a bright red cape in tow.

Friends of the Burlington County Library to host used book and media sale
It’s time to stock up on books and movies for the long winter ahead and the Friends of the Burlington County Library are ready to help with another used books and media sale set for Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 at the library in Westampton.
Look for a wide selection of hardbacks, paperbacks, and children’s books, as well as DVDs, CDs and more.
NJ special education funding and regionalization were discussed at BOE meeting
Tabernacle Board of Education member Gail Corey recapped the New Jersey School Boards Association delegate assembly at this week’s meeting.
