Voorhees resident joins Capstone board

Voorhees resident Robert M. Brown has been an advisor to Capstone Legacy Foundation and now has officially joined the board of directors.

Brown is the president of American Asphalt Company in South Jersey, a firm that started in 1905 and has grown to 180 employees. His career has included buying and selling of more than 25 businesses, and he enjoys creating win-win deals. He also has experience in various industries such as, auto parts, heating oil, HVAC, millwrighting, traffic control, real estate, and asphalt manufacturing and contracting.

Brown has spent nine years serving others as a chairman of the Food Bank of South Jersey, and on many other boards including NJ Asphalt Paving Association, Associated Builders and Contractors and much more. His company is actively engaged in supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Camden, Food Bank of Southern Jersey and other local charities.

Brown has found a way to allow Christian values to become a beacon in business, which draws people nearer to God in many ways. He is a proud member of C12, a national executive round table group of Christian business owners.

Brown lives in Voorhees with his wife Barbara and together they enjoy their 10 grandchildren.
