The department is putting down their razors to help raise cancer awareness
You may have noticed your local police officers sporting a little more facial hair than you’re used to seeing on an officer of the law. Don’t worry, they aren’t going through hard times they’re just participating in the tradition known as “No Shave November”.
During the months of November and December officers will be allowed to grow whatever facial hair they please by making a donation to the Palmyra Police Association’s No Shave Member Team Page at https://moteam.co/palmyra-police-department
They are using the site to help raise additional funds and raise awareness for Prostate Cancer and other men’s health issues. So far they have raised $875. Last year’s total came to $2,854. To join their team or contribute funds to the cause visit their member page with the above link.
