Manzo, Heim re-elected to Township Committee, newcomer Straccialini elected to BOE

According to unofficial results published by the Gloucester County Board of Elections, incumbents Louis Manzo and Don Heim were re-elected to the Township Committee.

Harrison Township Committee incumbents Mayor Louis Manzo and Don Heim win re-election for the two open seats on township committee.

Independents Manzo and Heim were elected for a full-term, three-year seat. Manzo and Heim were contested by Republicans David Schulze and Edward Selb.

The unofficial results from the Gloucester County Board of Elections reports Manzo received 3,266 votes and Heim received 3,128 votes ahead of 2,119 and 2,223 votes for Schulze and Selb, respectively.

In the Harrison Township Board of Education election for three open seats, voters elected incumbents Joseph Schwab and Theresea Vaites, and newcomer Marissa Straccialini.

Incumbent Stephen Houpt finishes fifth with 1,482 votes. Megan Robinson finished fourth with 1,774 votes and Jennifer Liberi-Middleton finished with 1,470.

Jennifer A. Bowen was elected to fill a one-year un-expired term in the Harrison Township Board of Education. Her seat will be up for election for a full, three-year term in 2019.

For the Clearview Regional School District in Harrison Township, voters re-elected Scott Muscarella and Sherry Mongiovi-Dvorak. 64 votes were casted as write-ins.

All results are unofficial until the board of elections certifies them. These numbers do not include mail-in or provisional ballots.
