Gloucester Township collects unused prescription meds

Gloucester Township Police Department collects approximately 450 pounds of unused prescription medication

The Gloucester Township Police Department wants to thank residents for participating in the National Drug Take Back Day at the end of October.

With the help of the 24/7 drug drop off boxes and the take back event, the GTPD was able to gather and properly dispose of 445 pounds of unused prescription medication that could have found its way on the streets.

This is just one of many ways that the GTPD and the community of Gloucester Township partner to help reduce drug addiction.
