Allegedly intoxicated patron shoves Topgolf employee and flees in recent Mt. Laurel Police report

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On Oct. 7 at 12:37 a.m., the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department had patrols respond to Top Golf, at 104 Centerton Road.

According to police, patrols were responding to a disorderly person complaint.

Police officials say an employee of the Topgolf establishment reported that she had advised an allegedly intoxicated female patron that the female would not be served alcohol.

According to police, the female patron allegedly became verbally abusive and was asked to leave.

While the female patron was being escorted out of the business, police say the female patron allegedly shoved the employee and fled the scene.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On Oct. 15 at 5:52 p.m., patrols responded to Laurel Acres Park at 1039 South Church Street for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim reported that sometime between 5 and 5:45 p.m., an unknown individual smashed a rear window of her jeep and stole a backpack that contained her wallet.

On Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m., patrols responded to the 100 block of Chaucer Road for a criminal mischief complaint. The victim/resident reported that on Oct. 14 at approximately 10 p.m., an unknown individual threw a rock at his window, causing the window to break.

On Oct. 13 at 8:34 p.m., patrols responded top Prospectors at 3050 Route 38 for a report of a disorderly male in the parking lot. Patrols located a 34-year-old male from Delran who was heavily intoxicated and acting disorderly. After multiple attempts were made and refused to get the male a ride home, he was transported to a medical facility for treatment.

On Oct. 13 at 8:32 p.m., patrols responded to the Walmart at 934 Route 73 for a report of a fight in progress. The investigation revealed that a 32-year-old female customer from Marlton got into a fight with a 20-year-old female employee from Mt Laurel after the female refused to cut her lunchmeat.

On Oct. 11 at 3:01 p.m., patrols responded to Target at 4 Centerton Road for a report of an employee who was shoplifting in the store. The investigation led to the arrest of a 51-year-old female from Riverside for shoplifting. She was processed and charged on a summons with shoplifting. She was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 10 at 11:39 p.m., patrols investigated a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Super 8 at 560 Fellowship Road. During the investigation, it was determined that each occupants of the vehicle were in possession of marijuana. A 21-year-old male from Ellenwood, Ga. and a 23-year-old male from Atlanta were each arrested, processed and charged on a summons for possession of marijuana. Each was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 10 at 1:10 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 in the area of Fostertown Road. During the stop, it was determined that a 21-year-old male driver from Blackwood was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, processed and released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Oct. 9 at 1:31 p.m., patrols responded to the Wawa at 1115 Route 73 for a report of an employee theft. Management reported that over multiple dates, a 25-year-old male employee from Mt. Laurel was voiding transactions and stole money paid by the customers. The individual was arrested, processed and charged on a summons with theft. He was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 9 at 9:22 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on East Daisy Lane for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim/resident reported that sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 9:20 a.m. on Oct. 9, an unknown individual stole his 2017 white Ford F150 from the parking lot area. The vehicle was later located in Philadelphia on Oct. 10.

On Oct. 8 at 10:18 p.m., patrols responded to the Rodeway Inn at 1132 Route 73 for a report of an overdose. Mt. Laurel Patrols, EMS and Paramedics responded and administered Narcan to a 38-year-old victim from Woodbury who was unconscious due to an apparent heroin overdose. The overdose was reversed and the victim refused further medical treatment.

On Oct. 8 at 6:16 p.m., a resident from the 1400 block of Sedgefield Drive came into headquarters to report that on Oct. 6, an unknown individual stole her 2000 black Honda Accord from the parking lot of her residence. The vehicle was later recovered in Trenton by the Trenton Police Department.

On Oct. 7 at 11:16 a.m., patrols responded to Walmart at 934 Route 73 for a shoplifter. Loss prevention employees reported that a 39-year-old female from Maple Shade was observed or store surveillance putting multiple items into a shopping cart and leaving the store without paying. She was subsequently arrested, processed and charged on a summons with shoplifting. She was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 6 at 7 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Route 73 and Church Road for a motor vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that one of the drivers, a 36-year-old male from Philadelphia was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested, processed and charged on a summons with driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle violations. He was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 6 at 11:15 a.m., patrols responded to a business in the Centerton Square Shopping Center for a report of counterfeit bills. Store staff reported that while counting money from the previous day, they discovered 30 counterfeit $20 bills.

On Oct. 6 at 2:31 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Academy Drive in the area of Kelly Cove. During the investigation, it was determined that a 33-year-old male driver from Mt. Laurel was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested, processed and charged on a summons with driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle violations. He was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 6 at 12:04 a.m., patrols responded to Prospectors at 3050 Route 38 for a report of a criminal mischief. The victim reported that her vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Prospectors. When she returned to her vehicle, she observed the rear window to be smashed.

On Oct. 5 at 5:37 p.m., patrols responded to Walmart at 934 Route 73 for a report of a shoplifting. Loss prevention reported that a 57-year-old female from Mt. Laurel was observed in the self-check-out line bagging items that were not scanned. The female was arrested and charged on a summons with shoplifting. She was processed and released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 5 at 12:16 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Danbury Court for a suspicious person in the area. Patrols located a 47-year-old male from Collingswood Heights. During the investigation, it was determined that the male had a child support warrant. It was also determined that he was in possession of marijuana. He was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with possession marijuana. He was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 5 at 10:15 a.m., patrols responded to the Shop Rite at 1000 Nixon Drive for a report of a shoplifting. Loss prevention reported that a 44-year-old female from Browns Mills attempted to shoplift merchandise by concealing it on her person. She was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with shoplifting. She was released pending a future court date.

On Oct. 5 at 5:27 a.m., patrols responded to the Verizon Store on Route 73 for a burglar alarm activation. Arriving officers observed the front window smashed out. The store manager reported several phones were stolen. Investigation ongoing.

On Oct. 4 at 3:47 p.m., patrols responded to Walmart at 934 Route 73 for a report of a shoplifting. Loss prevention employees reported that a 38-year-old male from Sebring, Fla. selected $45.33 worth of store merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. The male was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with shoplifting. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Oct. 4 at 3:05 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 300 block of Maple Road for a report of air conditioners being damaged. The victim/resident reported that she received an email from a friend advising her that her air conditioners were stolen from the residence. The investigation revealed that the air conditioners had been taken apart by an unknown individual who then stole some of the parts.

On Oct. 4 at 2:59 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Primrose Court for the report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim/resident stated that she parked her 2012 black Honda CRV in her driveway at 9 p.m. on Oct. 3. She noticed the vehicle was gone at 2:59 p.m. on Oct. 4. On Oct. 7, the vehicle was located abandoned on Teal Lane. It appears that the individual used a valet key that was stored in the vehicle.

On Oct. 4 at 12:09 p.m., patrols responded to Dick’s Sporting Goods at 1300 Nixon Drive for a shoplifting report. While patrols were headed to the store, it was determined that a 29-year old-male from Philadelphia entered the store and attempted to shoplift merchandise. Loss prevention employees attempted to stop the male, at which time he continued towards his vehicle. An off duty police officer then confronted the male, at which time the individual pushed the officer and fled. The male was located by responding officers at the Chik-Fil-A on Nixon Drive, at which time he was taken into custody. During the arrest, it was determined that the male was in possession of methamphetamine and prescription pills. The male was charged on a warrant with robbery, shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail pending a future court date.

On Oct. 3 at 11:40 a.m., patrols responded to Home Depot at 1200 Nixon Drive for a reported shoplifting. Loss prevention employees reported that a 38-year-old male from Camden entered the store, selected a chain saw and attempted to leave the store without paying for the saw. The male was subsequently arrested and charged on a warrant with shoplifting. He was processed and turned over to the Burlington County Jail pending a future court date.

On Oct. 3 at 10:16 a.m., patrols responded to a business on the 100 block of West Park Drive for a report of damage to a vehicle. The victim reported that sometime between 6:45 and 10:15 a.m., an unknown individual broke one of her vehicle windows, causing approximately $150 in damage.

On Oct. 2 at 7:58 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Knighton Lane for a report of damage to a vehicle. The resident reported that sometime between 5:30 and 7:45 p.m., an unknown individual smashed one of his vehicle windows, causing approximately $500 in damage.

On Oct. 1 at 1:51 p.m., patrols responded to Laurel Acres Park on South Church Street for the report of a stolen purse. The victim reported that she left her purse unattended by the swings. When she went to retrieve the purse, it was gone.
