The following comes from Gloucester County.
Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro had their official opening on Saturday, Oct. 13 with a celebratory ribbon cutting.
“Bonesaw Brewing Co. has been a hot subject for discussion ever since construction started and residents learned what was moving in,” said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger. “ It is not surprising that they have been incredibly welcomed and popular since their soft opening in June. We support our local brewers and the economic impact they bring.”
“The brewing industry in southern New Jersey is expanding and thriving,” said Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development. “By allowing this industry to grow there are more potential job opportunities and more places for visitors to spend their dollars.”
Owner Rich DiVernerio has been brewing beer since the late 1980s, and through a partnership with brother-in-laws David Doe, the business and finance expert, and Alan Doe, who had prior restaurant, bar and taproom management experience, DiVernerio’s dream of owning a brewery in New Jersey was within reach. With the help of brewmaster AJ Stoll, Bonesaw Brewing Co. was able to become a reality.
