Police say literature supporting the Ku Klux Klan was left at homes in Old Orchard overnight on Friday.
Cherry Hill Police are currently investigating reports of literature supporting the Ku Klux Klan that was left on the lawns of several Cherry Hill homes overnight Friday and into Saturday morning.
Police say they received several reports of messages supporting the KKK on lawns in the Old Orchard section of the township. The messages were left inside plastic bags at several of the homes.
Mayor Chuck Cahn denounced the activities in a statement over the weekend.
“This type of hatred and bigotry will not be tolerated in our town,” Cahn said. “We will investigate this matter until we identify the individuals responsible and will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”
