Michele Borba will present her book on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m., Moorestown Friends School will welcome author and psychology expert Michele Borba, Ed.D. for a presentation in the auditorium. This event is open to the MFS community and general public. To RSVP or place an advance book order, visit mfriends.org/unselfie.
Borba’s new book “UnSelfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World” offers research, ideas and exercises to help parents and educators cultivate empathy in children. Her MFS visit will include a conversation about “UnSelfie” and its themes, followed by a book signing.
Borba is the author of 22 books on parenting and education. Her work has been featured on The Today Show, Dateline and The Doctors and in publications such as Newsweek and The New York Times. Borba has presented speeches and keynote addresses across the globe on topics including bullying prevention and moral development.
