Burlington County Medical Reserve Corps seeks volunteers

Volunteers serve citizens of Burlington County in public health emergencies and assist with public health initiatives.

The Burlington County Medical Reserve Corps (BCMRC) continues to seek volunteers.

According to Burlington County, the mission of the BCMRC is to improve the health and safety of communities by organizing and utilizing public health, medical and other volunteers.

The volunteer workforce of health professionals and community volunteers serve the citizens of Burlington County in the event of a public health emergency and assist with public health initiatives (ie: seasonal flu clinics, health fairs, volunteer recruitment, etc).

Volunteers must be citizens of the United States and reside or work in Burlington County.

Anyone with an interest in health issues can volunteer. The group needs licensed or certified health care professionals, practicing or retired, living or working in Burlington County.

The group also needs community volunteers such as interpreters, chaplains, social workers and support staff.
