Big changes are in store for Palmyra roadways.
Borough Council previously awarded a contract for road improvements on Horace, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, Leconey, Maple and Berkley Aves/Sts and now the work is finally set to begin. Extensive water and gas main replacements by NJAW and PSE&G had significantly delayed the project.
Charles Marandino LLC, a contractor with extensive experience working in Palmyra, notified are residents that work will commence on or about Sept. 25, 2018.
This project is the largest and most expensive road improvement project ever undertaken by the Borough, with the two utility companies sharing in the expense. The Borough’s cost alone exceeds $730,000.
All work is expected to be completed by Dec. 7, 2018.
