The Malvern School of Washington Township earns mark of quality with NAEYC re-accreditation

Press release from The Malvern School

While The Malvern School of Washington Township prepares for the upcoming new school year, it has announced it has earned re-accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nations largest early childhood accrediting organization. Less than 10 percent of all child-care centers, preschools and kindergartens achieve this recognition, which has become a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. This marks the second time The Malvern School of Washington Township has earned this honor.

“NAEYC Accreditation helps families recognize quality early learning programs and feel comfortable knowing that their children are receiving a high-quality, research-based education that will prepare them for future success,” the association stated.

“We were elated when The Malvern School of Washington Township first achieved NAEYC accreditation in 2013, and we are equally as proud to earn this re-accreditation and, in fact, exceed many of the program standards,” said Christle Seal, director of educational programs at The Malvern School. “Upholding an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality learning environment is core to our mission at The Malvern School, and our team is — and always will be — highly dedicated to ensuring we remain one of the top early childhood education programs in the country.”

The Malvern School of Washington Township received high marks for each of NAEYC’s 10 research-based standards and earned scores of greater than 100 percent in more than half of the categories focused on: relationships with children, curriculum, teaching approaches, child assessment, nutrition and health, staff qualifications, relationships with children’s families, community relations, physical environment, and program leadership and management.

Additionally, individual classrooms received scores of between 94 and 98 percent, further demonstrating excellence in action.

“Congratulations to our team in Washington Township for making The Malvern School one of the most highly regarded programs locally and nationally and — most importantly — making it a place where children learn and feel loved,” Seal added.

Fall enrollment is currently open at The Malvern School of Washington Township, conveniently located at 329 Greentree Road in Sewell, New Jersey, about one block off of Egg Harbor Road.
