STEM’s fall festival returns

STEM will host their fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 7.

STEM (Save the Environment of Moorestown) will celebrate the season at
its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 7 from noon until 4 p.m. (rain or shine) at Strawbridge Lake at Kings Highway. Admission is free.

There’ll be fall fun for folks of all ages to enjoy at the outdoor event including animal and environmental displays, canoe and kayak rentals, children’s activities, fishing contest, guided tour of Waterworks Woods Open Space, live music, refreshments, STEM photo contest display of winning pictures and once again, the awarding of the K-3 Coloring Contest winners.

Children from kindergarten through grade three are encouraged to get out their crayons and color the nature pictures provided by STEM — this year a butterfly on a flower. Just go to the children’s section in the Moorestown Library to pick up a picture to take home to color and then return the picture to the library by Oct. 1 for judging.
