The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice invites the community to attend its annual benefit food, wine and beer tasting, known as “Spirits Night” on Oct. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westin in Mount Laurel. This popular fundraiser is expected to be well attended by local VIP’s, and those interested in enjoying an evening of wine, beer and liquor tasting and food pairings guided by experts in the field.
The expected attendance is more than 450 people. Tickets are currently available to the public, and guest must be 21 or older to attend.
Benefit Spirits Night at The Westin is in support of charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs for residents of South Jersey, including Camp Firefly for grieving children.
The evening includes more than 30 tables of generous tastings of domestic and international wines and beer sponsored by Benash Liquors of Cherry Hill. Liquor tasting will also available this year.
Plentiful food and dessert samplings by many top area chefs, bakers, and caterers will also be available. Local favorites participating include: The Chop House, Harvest Seasonal Grill, Bellagio, Seasons 52, Fresh Grille Paella, Chick-Fil-A, and Monsoon Fine Indian Cuisine. Chefs will also be on-hand from Cardinal Village, Powerback Moorestown, Brookdale Senior Living and Brandywine Living. Many other local restaurants are expected to participate.
There will also be a silent auction, wine pull, cash raffle and new this year is a “campsite” full of games and prizes in support of Camp Firefly.
