Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office arrests №10 on most wanted list

The following comes from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office.

David Alloway was wanted for violating a probation warrant proceeding a Theft by Unlawful Taking charge.

Gloucester County Sheriff Carmel Morina announced that Daniel Alloway of Gibbstown, number ten on the Sheriff’s Top Ten Most Wanted List, was located and arrested on Friday, September 8, 2018.

The Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit arrested Alloway at a family member’s residence in East Greenwich Township. He was wanted nationwide for a Violation of Probation Warrant, with the original charge being Theft by Unlawful Taking. He was then lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility to await his court hearing.

Sheriff Morina said, “Our Fugitive Unit works diligently everyday looking for fugitives. Our unit of well-trained detectives partner with other agencies to get criminals off of the streets, all in keeping the residents of Gloucester County safe

Freeholder Dan Christy, liaison to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, said, “Our sheriffs officer’s work tirelessly to keep Gloucester County safe for our residents. We are proud of the professionalism and dedication they display every day.”

To date the Sheriff’s Office has apprehended 175 off the Sheriff’s Top Ten Most Wanted List.
