Washington Township High School athletics expanding relationship with National Federation of High Schools Network
Press release from Washington Township School District
Washington Township High School Director of Athletics, Kevin Murphy, has announced that WTHS will expand its relationship with the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) Network during the 2018–19 school year. Using the Pixellot technology program, which features an automated camera system, WTHS will be able to produce live streams for all athletic events on Tom Brown Field.
The NFHS Network platform allows for both live streaming and archiving for on-demand viewing through the website https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/washington-township-high-school-sewell-nj. Fans can watch events whenever they want from wherever they are using their smart television, computer or mobile device. An all-access Monthly Pass costs $9.99; a 120-day Seasonal Pass costs $40; and a 365-day Annual Pass costs $70. Subscriptions can be purchased at www.nfhsnetwork.com/subscribe/retail. Live-streamed events can be watched via a free membership 72 hours after a broadcast is complete.
“Our school’s continued association with the NFHS Network, and the addition of automated live streaming of athletic events from Tom Brown Field this fall, will enable our extended WTHS community the opportunity to watch our student athletes compete,” Murphy said.
The NFHS Network is a joint venture among the National Federation of State High School Associations, its member state associations and PlayOn! Sports. The NFHS is located in Indianapolis and is the national leadership organization for high school sports and performing arts activities. PlayOn! Sports is based in Atlanta and is the nation’s largest high school sports media company.
