Evesham promotes program to remove dangerous curbside tree if residents replace sidewalks

For more information visit, the township’s website at www.evesham-nj.org.

Evesham Township is reminding residents that the township’s Department of Public Works offers a Shared Service Program where if a tree is lifting the sidewalk and creating a trip hazard, the township will incur the cost of removing the tree, stump and affected roots if the property owner agrees to replace the sidewalk with new concrete.

For more information visit, the township’s website at www.evesham-nj.org.

DPW will only remove a tree only if it is considered a danger to public safety, such as a dead tree. Otherwise, property owners are responsible for maintenance and/or removal of curbside trees.
