Eastern Regional High School is taking fundraising to the Mats

Eastern Regional High School Marching Vikings is hosting their second annual Mattress Fundraiser.

If you’re in the market for a new bed or bedding accessories and want to support local students, be sure to stop by the Eastern Regional High School Cafeteria this Saturday, Sept. 22. The high school will be selling adjustable bed frames, luxury pillows, box springs and a vast array of mattresses, including latex and memory foam with a team of experts on hand to answer any questions.

The fundraiser is to help raise money for the Eastern Regional Marching Vikings Bands Program.

“The concept is unusual but one that absolutely works,” said Joe Matejka, owner and founder of the Mattress Fundraiser. “One in 10 people buy a new mattress every single year. We offer the community a quality product they need at a great price. The best part is that every sale benefits the school. Our one-day sale can help a group raise thousands of dollars! That is why we are in this business…to help the community!”

This Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Custom Fundraising Solutions will transform the Cafeteria 500 into a 20+ bed showroom filled with all sizes and styles. Name brands like Simmons Beautyrest, Malouf, Symbol, and Tranquility are available for up to 50 percent off retail prices. Watch for area yard signs and for the few lucky school kids who get to wear the “mattress suit” while promoting the sale to passersby.

Since 2005, Custom Fundraising Solutions has been helping schools raise money using an unconventional approach, “The Mattress Fundraiser.” The concept is designed to help groups raise thousands of dollars in a one-day sale, and provide the community a product they need, for a great value.
