The first night of food trucks takes place tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Medford Township Council recently adopted an ordinance permitting food trucks on Main Street for designated dates and times. Partnering with the local businesses and the Medford Arts Center, up to six food trucks will be parked along Main Street on the third Thursday of every month from August through December, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. — rain or shine.
Stores and restaurants (Braddock’s Tavern, The Pop Shop and ITA101) will be opened later, both craft breweries (Lower Forge Brewery and The Nale House Brewery) will be open, special events and activities will be offered, and sidewalk sales and special in-store promotions will be featured.
For up to date information on the featured food trucks and activities each month, visit the news feed on the home page of the Medford Township website or the Township’s official Facebook page.
The food vendors featured for August 16 will be:
Matty G Dogz — featuring hot dogs, hot sausage dogs, kielbasa dogs and soft pretzels.
Not Your Mama’s Tacos — featuring a variety of unique tacos.
Cha-Yen — featuring a variety of flavored snow ice, bubble tea and fruit smoothies.
Julio’s Mexican Cuisine — featuring quesadillas, empanadas, rice & beans, and churros & jarritos.
Brother Bear’s BBQ & Catering — featuring pulled brisket, pork belly burnt ends and grilled chicken kabobs.
Rob’s Craft Sandwiches — featuring pulled pork sliders, porchettas and BLTs.
The Munchy Machine — featuring smoked wings, potato chip nachos, pepperoni pizza egg rolls and chicken & waffles.
Plan to spend every third Thursday on Main Street in Medford!
