Press release from Gloucester County Board of Freeholders
On July 27, the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders will sponsor their annual Disability Employment Job Fair and Resource Event from 9 a.m. to noon at the county’s Clayton Complex.
Freeholder Director Robert M. This will be the third year that the Disability Employment Job Fair and Resource Event has provided job seekers and potential employers with an opportunity to meet and network.
Freeholder Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services, said “This job fair has proven a positive experience for all involved. It is a way for employers to find skilled employees while also showing job seekers that they have something positive to offer.”
Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to Economic Development said, “This event provides employers the opportunity to find qualified individuals who are open to work, and offers job seekers to get a feel for what it is like to speak with employers and how to seek out potential job opportunities in the future. It’s a great way for employers and seekers to connect.”
