This letter is regarding the Marlton Sun editorial entitled “NJ Not Patriotic? Just Go Away” in the paper’s July 11–17 edition.
You tried, my friend.
You tried to put a positive spin on the decaying body known as New Jersey. More people are leaving the state than are taking up residence here. I think the number was 800 more people are leaving every day.
We are known to have the highest taxes of any state in the union. Wow! That says a lot when we are up against high tax states such as California, New York and Illinois. Oh well, God bless you for trying.
And God help all the people who are leaving. I wish them well for having to make such a drastic decision to pull up stakes. I suspect they will take up residence in a more people friendly state somewhere.
