Burlington Township police arrest suspect in Masonic Village burglaries

A 41-year-old Lawrenceville man has been charged with burglary and theft, according to police

The following report is from the Burlington Township Police Department:

The Burlington Township Police Department arrested a suspect Thursday, June 14, who allegedly committed multiple burglaries and thefts at the Masonic Village construction site on Jacksonville Road.

The investigation began on May 31when officers responded to the construction site for the report of an overnight burglary and theft of construction materials and tools. Additional burglaries and thefts were reported on June 4, June 6 and June 8 with the stolen items consisting once again of construction materials and tools.

Through their investigation, detectives identified a 41-year-old man from Lawrenceville as a suspect. He was taken into custody on June 14, and officers determined that he was involved in two of the incidents. He was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft, and he was later lodged in Burlington County Jail.

Detectives are continuing their investigation to determine what involvement the suspect had in the other incidents and whether he had any accomplices.
