The Rotary planted about 20 trees this past weekend to help beautify the new park.
This past weekend The Rotary Club of Mt. Laurel donated and helped plant about 20 trees at the newly opened Elbo Park at the corner of Elbo Lane and Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road.
Members of Rotary were joined by local students and other volunteers to help with the planting.
The tree project was was spearheaded by Jarry Jones, a member of the Rotary for about 40 years.
Members of the Mt. Laurel Fire Department were also on hand to help provide water for the trees.
In addition the newly planted trees, the park also features picnic tables, benches and walking paths.

According to the group, Rotary is a service driven organization, through which the club provides an organized outlet for contributing to the community. Rotary members dedicate their time, skills and expertise.
The group meets every Wednesday at noon at Redz Restaurant at the Double Tree Hotel in Mt. Laurel at 515 Fellowship Road.
