Press release issued by the Mantua Township School District:
It is with great enthusiasm that the Mantua Township School District announces our second annual Big Night Out: A Celebration of Community, Character and Connection from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., June 7, at the J.Mason Tomlin School.
Last year, this event was an overwhelming success where more than 1,000 people attended for this evening of fun and end of year celebration. Back by popular demand will be live music by the local band, Stained Glass, food trucks, craft tables, basket auctions and a newly planned event for children — Splash and Dash Water Run. A few surprise activities and attractions are also currently being planned.
The district would also like to extend an invitation to all community businesses, free of charge, to have a presence on this evening by setting up a table for corporate promotions. We are thankful for all of the community relationships that the school district has developed and we continue to view our local businesses as valuable partners in education. We would like to invite you on this evening to thank you for your support.
We hope that you will consider joining us on this evening which also will include recognition for the school district on its recent distinction as a New Jersey State School District of Character, one of only three New Jersey awardees in 2018. Each of the district’s core values and virtues will once again be visually represented at stations. Students will be able to choose activities at each station designed to encourage them to dream big and become highly motivated to grow into the best version of themselves. Shuttle parking will also be available again from Chestnut Branch Park.
If you would like more information on this event or are interested in having a table organized for your place of business please contact Mrs. Terry Labbree at [email protected] or by calling 468–2225.
