May 1

  • Officers took a report for a lost license plate.
  • Officers responded to a crash on Route 45 at Jackson Rd. Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
  • Officers responded to a hit and run crash on Mantua Blvd near Center St. Suspect vehicle fled the scene but was able to be located at a residence with the help of witnesses.
  • Officers responded to a crash on Glassboro Rd. near the Heritages store.
  • Officers took a theft report in which hunting equipment was stolen from Boody Mill Rd.

May 2

  • Officers responded to a crash at Pitman Rd. and Lambs Rd. in which a vehicle fled the scene. He later turned himself in at police headquarters.
  • Officers responded to a neighbor complaint. Attempted to resolve the issue.
  • Officers responded to a possible burglary of a residence in which the caller found a screw driver by their door. There was nothing missing from inside.
  • Officers responded to a noise complaint by the Sewell School. It was found to be a band practicing.

May 3

  • Officers took a late report for a motor vehicle crash in which a vehicle struck the Gloucester County Christian School.
  • Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Main Street in the area of the Fire Museum.
  • Officers responded to a hit and run crash at the Wawa on Rt. 45 in which a truck fled the scene.
  • Officers responded to a minor parking lot crash at the Timberline Shopping Center.
  • Officers responded to a crash on Glassboro Rd. in the area of Route 55.
  • Ptl Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. He was arrested and turned over to the agency that held the warrant.

May 4

  • Officers responded to the Home Depot for an illegal dumping complaint
  • Officers responded to Glassboro Rd. in the area of the Target for a motor vehicle crash in which two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
  • Officers responded to the Wine Warehouse regarding a complaint of a customer exposing himself and urinating on the floor in the stock area the night before. Ptl. Hasselman investigated and made an arrest in this case.
  • Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Mantua Blvd.
  • Officers took a harassment complaint from the Country Gardens development in which a former friend would not stop contacting the victim even after advising him not to.
  • Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Center Street near the Sewell Post Office.
  • Officers responded to the Sewell section for two neighbors that were arguing with one possibly intoxicated. Officers calmed the situation.

May 5

  • Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up roadway trash on Main St. and Lambs Rd.
  • Officers responded to a hit and run crash on Tylers Mill Rd. near Glassboro Rd. Officers were able to located the fleeing vehicle, and they were charged accordingly.

May 6

  • Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the Grey Fox development. Officers on scene were able to calm the situation.

May 7

  • JMT School reported inappropriate messages were written in chalk outside the school.
  • An employee at Sally Beauty Salon in Timberline Shopping Center reported a theft.
  • Officers took a crash report in which a deer was struck on Barnsboro Rd.
  • Ptl. Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the driver for outstanding warrants as well as crack and oxycodone. He was processed and turned over to the county jail.

May 8

  • Officers took a missing person report for a 21-year-old
  • Officers responded to the entrance to the Chick Fil A for a minor motor vehicle crash.
  • Officers took a report of criminal mischief to a Centre City home in which a screen was cut.
  • Officers responded to the Royal Oaks section for a report of loud arguing. Found to be a mother and son arguing and the son left prior to our arrival.
  • Sgt. Herner made a car stop and arrested the driver for possession of over three pounds of marijuana. Ptl. Mroz and his K9, Zuke, assisted in the investigation.
