April 20
Patrols responded to a motor vehicle crash on Berkley Road in the area of Spring Hill Road involving a motorcycle.
Ptl. Crispin conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lambs Road and arrested an occupant for an outstanding warrant. The subject was processed and turned over to the County Jail.
Officers responded to a report of screaming from a house. Officers found a loud party upon arrival and requested to keep the noise level down.
Sgt. Herner conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the occupant for an outstanding warrant.
April 21
The Police Explorers participated in Earth Day cleanup by help cleaning up trash from side of the roadway.
Officers took a report for a hit and run crash in which sometime struck a parked car sometime overnight.
Officers responded to the Royal Oaks section for a report of a neighbor blowing leaves onto their property.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Woodbury Glassboro Road in the area of Lambs Road.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the Villages of Berkley. Officers remained on scene and parties separated for the night and no criminal complaints or restraining orders were requested at that time.
Patrols were dispatched to the Sewell section for a disturbance in which an adult daughter was yelling and cursing inside the house. Officers responded and were able to calm the parties down.
Officers responded to a fatal motor vehicle crash on Route 45 in the area of Dippy Ice Cream. There was one fatality and two others were transported to Cooper Trauma. Units remained on scene for approximately three hours investigating.
During the above crash, officers also responded to a crash in the parking lot of the Wine Warehouse. The operator of a vehicle was found to be intoxicated and arrested.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the Royal Oaks section. It was found to be a verbal argument and both parties calmed down and went to bed.
April 22
Officers responded to a one vehicle crash on Route 45 at Main Street.
Officers responded to a female that was overdosing on Route 55. Officers responded as well as NJSP but victim left prior to police arrival.
A resident of the Villages of Berkley called the police because their toilet was backing up into their residence. They were advised to call their homeowners association maintenance unit.
Officers responded to a two vehicle crash on Route 45 at Heritage Road.
April 23
Officers responded to a residence in which a male was bit by the neighbor’s dog. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers took a theft report in which a township owned trash can was stolen.
Patrols handled a motor vehicle crash on Route 45 in the area of Harrison Ave.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 45 at Jackson Road involving a motorcycle. Two riders on the motorcycle were ejected. They were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. While there, there was a second crash from watching the first crash.
Officers responded to a one vehicle crash in which the vehicle struck a pole. There were no injuries and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
A subject turned himself in because he had warrants out for his arrest. He was able to post bail and was released.
April 24
Officers responded to the Sewell section for a female that had overdosed. Narcan was administered and she was transported to the hospital.
Ptl. Riepen and his K9 partner, Bane, responded to Woodbury to assist with a bank robbery.
Officers took a report for a stolen license plate from a trailer in the Sewell section.
Officers located a stolen vehicle from New York City in the Ravenswood Development.
Ptl Riepen and his K9 partner conducted a narcotic sniff on a vehicle in Glassboro and there was a positive indication.
Officers assisted a motorist that had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
Sgt. Herner conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the occupant for possession of marijuana.
April 25
Officers took a report from the Mantua Heights section for jewelry that was missing from a safe in the house.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 45 in the area of Main Street.
Ptl. Mroz and his K9 partner assisted Pitman PD on a motor vehicle stop.
Patrols responded to the Dollar General store for an unwanted person due to a previous shoplifting. The subject had left prior to our arrival, but she was reminded of her ban from the store.
Patrols responded to the Timbercrest Development for an out of control teenage female that was acting out because she was disciplined.
Patrols also responded to the Royal Oaks section for a domestic dispute that turned out to only be a verbal argument.
April 26
Officers took a fraud report in the Cottage Gate development regarding a bad check.
Officers took a report in the Sewell section for a stolen license plate.
Officers took a harassment report in a domestic situation in which the victim applied for and was granted a temporary restraining order.
A subject turned themselves in on an active warrant for their arrest. They were processed and released.
April 27
Officers responded to the Centre City section for a domestic dispute between a father and son over smoking. Parties were calmed and worked out on scene.
Officers took a report for an attempted phone scam.
Officers took a report for an on-line scam.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of the Lowes store.
Officers took a harassment complaint in which the victim has been receiving numerous unwanted phone calls from the suspect.
Patrols responded to the Telford Inn for three subjects that were intoxicated and arguing.
April 29
Ptl. Riepen and his partner, Bain, responded to Deptford to assist with a vehicle sniff. There was a positive indication and marijuana was recovered.
Officers responded to the Sewell section for a dispute. A subject sold his car with the tags still on it and the purchaser won’t return the tags.
Patrols responded to a domestic verbal dispute between an adult daughter and her parents. The daughter agreed to spend the night somewhere else.
Patrols responded to a crash on Mantua Blvd near Norris Street.
Cpl. Leach made a quick apprehension of a subject that was fleeing from a house fire in Pitman.
April 30
Patrols responded to the Target store for a school bus that was pulled over because a student was assaulting an aide on the bus. The student was removed from the bus and transported to the hospital.
Officers responded to a neighbor dispute. Officers attempted to resolve the issue.
Officers made an arrest for a subject that had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was processed and turned over to the County Jail.
